Firing Prices

Our kiln pricing works per layer/shelf in the kiln. Each kiln shelf is 40cm X 40cm.

Bisque and Glaze fires

Each layer/shelf filled - $25

 

We aim to fit as many products as we can per shelf, for bisque fires we are able to stack plates and bowls approx 2-3 items high to maximise kiln capacity. For glaze fires we separate each piece approx 2cm apart to prevent any glazed pieces ‘glueing’ together during the firing.

Single fired pottery

Each layer/shelf filled - $35

We recommend double firing pottery (bisque, then glaze) to avoid additional breakages and cracking. Due to the increased risk to the kiln and kiln shelves with single fire pottery, each shelf filled is $35.

Individual Pieces

Just got a couple of individual pieces? We can do that too. 

​

• Per piece (small mug, plates) - $6 each

• Per Piece (medium size eg a fruit bowl etc) - $10 each

• Per Piece (large size eg big platter) - $15 each
